Brazil Grape Growing Region
|
Petrolina, Pernambuco
The San Francisco valley, the driest region of Brazil is located in
the North East of the Pernambuco and Bahia States. This region is
able to produce grapes year-round due to its unique climate. Our
Brazilian growers are able to provide our customers with high
quality green seedless grapes during the gap between the late
storage California crop and the Copiapo Valley in Chile.
This relatively new growing region is in a state of rapid expansion
producing approximately 6 million boxes a year for export. Pandol
maintains its own on site quality control inspection and technical
assistance during the season starting the beginning of September
and finishing the first week of November.
